  May 22, 2011 - cherry-ruby colour, a little bit foggy; with some strange foam. nose: very fruity - dark and red fresh (tart accents) fruits;. taste: surprisingly quite deep; delkicate sweetness with some spices; mid bodied but with strange heaviness, overall quite fruity (black currant). No tanins, accidity very limited. Was not a good company to stewed beef.

  November 10, 2010 - Pop and pour. Different bottle and date. Note by dynowine below is unchanged, this wne provides a delightful, gentle, consistent, smoky, stony, and lightly fruity bordeaux experience, nicely centered and far from intense or overwhelming as some of the pricier vintages. Might make a nice entry wine to introduce the timid to the style and region without all the noise and interference of intense vintages or efforts. It was hard to stop drinking this wine and I bought two more bottles. Maybe three once I arrive at the store.

  October 30, 2010 - Tested on well-aired bottle, 3+ hrs. Interesting firm and centered nose of flowers, ham, hints of nail polish. In the mouth dark ripe fruit (dark cherry and berry) with smoke and vanilla spice and almost-flinty mineral. Finish short to medium of elements in balance. 70% merlot, 30% cab sauv. Dry. Body medium or lighter, acid medium, tannin medium or lower. Delicious and excellent QPR as tested, USD 13. Paired well with comte cheese.
