February 24, 2024 - 95 out of the bottle; so smooth, then after an hour tasted more like a mature Bordeaux. First hour was magic.

March 14, 2023 - Garnet, extensive bricking with rim clearing
Aromatics medium +. Bell pepper, old plum, leather, old earth
Palate has medium body. Acid medium +. Tannins medium, integrated medium grained. Alcohol medium. Tobacco, vegetal, wood box and old raisin.
Finish has a medium + length. Balanced
Dry glass notes of pencil lead and cigarette ash.
Overall, no fruit, all tertiary but interesting
    Drink now.

    March 5, 2023 - Double Blind tasting
Medium garnet with extensive bricking noted
Medium plus aromas jumping out of the glass - really no fruit here but complex aromas of cedar/ leather/ furniture polish and tobacco with underlying dry spices - thyme/ sage - just a hint of oak notes remaining
Medium bodied with palate of dried cherries/ currants and leather/ tobacco and cedar
Medium plus tannins but completely integrated - medium plus acidity and medium alcohol - moderate length carried by savory notes
I have a problem with aged wines - hard to call these when minimal fruit exists - I called old Brunello based on the savory notes but in retrospect the pyrazines remain, though almost predominately cedar at this point
In any case, a great wine which was more enjoyable with time in the glass
    I would recommend drinking now
