December 27, 2011 - Wow. Still a very solid showing for a 12 yr old ca cab. Color had good separation (3 of 4 levels). Well balanced, with good complexity and mix of spice/earth. Tannins present, but not overbearing.

December 26, 2008 - Not normally a big cab franc fan but this was very good. Licorice on the nose and flavors of mature fruit, becoming more full after some breathing time. Smooth but sustained tannins.

June 15, 2008 - Nice nice earthy licorice nose. Palate filled with mushroom, licorice followed by red fruits. Medium finish, nice showing from a 9 year old Napa cab f.

February 16, 2006 - Very earthy nose with just a bit of fruit in the background. Dark ruby red color. Soft, but persistant tannins and good acidity. On the palate the wine is also very earthy with just hints of dark fruit and dried herbs. Shortish finish.
