  January 23, 2021 - Still great. Cola and a hint of leather on the nose. Roasted plums and cherries on the palette. Fine grained tannins and a hint of acidity to hold it together. This has aged well. Another fine wine from Unti, as always.

  April 6, 2017 - I'm not sure what the difference is between this bottle and my last bottle about a year ago, but this is drinking almost like a Languedoc (for about 50% more) but a nice wine. This has some big juice, funk, tar and botanicals all at work at once. George has a special touch for California. No one else would make this wine in Georgia, and it's benchland wine. Not sure how he extracts this much tar and heavy sap flavors out of the wine in RRV.

  February 5, 2017 - Even a split aged 10 years had plenty more left. Rich, dark fruit, medium tannins, long finish. One of the best Syrahs around. Patience is rewarded with this wine.
