June 28, 2015 - Italian wine night and in need of a three dimensional white wine. On opening, not much aroma aside from rich leesy notes, like a vintage champagne gone flat. With air the wine is resuscitated, and new life appears. It's got a honey-apricots scent, with roasted hazelnuts or something mixed in. This was a magnum, and despite the 11 years it was quite lively and refreshing. Evolved no doubt but the bracing blast of youth had not altogether vanished. Full in the mouth, quite sturdy actually, and with a long finish. Worth the wait. Congrats to Clelia Romana e figlio!!

March 19, 2013 - After a pre-mox'd bottle of this the nite before, this delivered nicely. Pungent nose followed by a strong impression on the palate, this had a pleasantly long finish. No sense of "age", it was fresh, delightful. Ought to go another 5+ years easily.

April 24, 2011 - Drinking surprisingly well right now. Bright flavors of citrus, minerality and solid acidity. Long finish.
