  June 19, 2012 - Lots of alcohol in this wine, some in the nose along with spicy fruit. Big flavors of blackberry, plum, earth with maybe some prune on the finish. This is really quite tasty, though there is something a bit odd about the finish. Particularly for the price, we think this is a very enjoyable bottle.

  April 21, 2012 - with pork roast garlic, roasted red peppers, fresh basil. Decanted and let wine breath for 1 hour because of the alcohol but it only helped a little. Too much alcohol. will reduce the balance
