November 4, 2011 - This wine received a 93 from Jay Miller, Wine Advocate critic. I only had two bottles and they went on the same evening with friends. A classic Rhone blend, it is lively and fills the mouth with berries and spice. If you decant it for a while (even half an hour was sufficient) it will really open up. I only gave it a 92 because I don't know any better! The winery is sold out, so I am looking forward to the 09 after in lays down for a year.

March 2, 2011 - We first tried this wine in November 2010 at the winery release. It was popped and poured at this time. This young wine tasted very much like a Cabernet Sauvignon but very thick and chewy.
50% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre, 20% Syrah
Decanted for 6 Hours… Wow what a difference 6 hours makes! A classic Rhone blend. Color: Deep ruby. Aroma: Blueberries, dark cherries and almonds. Tasting notes: Dark cherries, caramel and licorice. It is an elegant feminine mouthful that is enjoyed for a full 30 seconds! We paired this wine with Mexican Arrachara (flank steak marinated in spices).
