  August 10, 2021 - Patience is rewarded !!
  Perfect cork after a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days, fruit more predominant on the first day. Softened depth and integrated complexity on day two. Deep dark ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of black cherry with a hint of licorice. Flavors of cherry, fig, blackberry, and leather with a medium to long finish. A very balanced flavorful Rhône blend. This is an age worthy wine with more years of life left. Great fruit and a very good winemaking effort. I wish I had more bottles to revisit, sadly, this is my last bottle of this vintage.

  January 6, 2014 - Good with food on day 1, good without food on day 3, at which point it was quite open and smooth, so this has a number of years left in it. Aroma of dusty cherry, palate of anise, allspice, leather leading thru to the finish. Nice value.
