  May 16, 2022 - Not a California fruit bomb, although you can still smell and taste the ripe black cherry, muted now behind oak/vanilla, baking spice, and forest floor. Lifted but balanced with a medium finish, 13.9% abv, doesn't taste hot at all. Lots of charm. Throws a bit of sediment. $70 for three bottles at the Acker auction. I think this wine is good for at least two more years and don't feel you have to drink this one up right away.

  October 28, 2021 - Lip smacking good and still so fresh. Spicy red berry fruit and an acid driven long finish, no rush to drink well stored bottles.
