December 30, 2011 - Pale brick red; after 48 hours woody note almost dissipated, refined spiritiness, plummy; gently sweet, spritely finesse, spiced, complex; extended. This should age comfortably for ten years.

April 22, 2007 - Decanted before dinner, an ok Port from a year few declared. Lighter body and texture, warm red fruit, moderate sweetness

July 15, 2006 - Very carmel tasting. I decanted it for 2 hours and was amazed at the heat it still had. This was not as smooth as I would have expected for a 1982. The good news is that I would think this bottle has a lot of life left. It would be good to try again in 5 - 10 years.
