March 5, 2018 - Petrol, apple, a bit of spice on the nose. The palate is dry and matches with light acidity. Perhaps a bit past prime but still drinking well at 10 years old.

December 13, 2012 - smells of cinnamon and tropical fruit; tastes dry, acidic, citrusy; long finish - very nice food wine

October 18, 2010 - Apples and apricot on the nose. Straightforward mild palate with a bit of a tart finish.

April 30, 2010 - Similar notes from last meeting with this wine. On the nose getting lots of apple and some lemon slight hints of petrel more like the smell you get when standing in an auto mechanics shop. Mouth feel is a nice citrusy tartness. On the palate continues with the apples and lemons with a nice slate backbone, finish remins me a bit of those old lemon sour drops. As always this is a really good everyday wine that is great to pour for those who aren't big into wine; most folks with little wine background always like this wine.

April 22, 2010 - Light yellow. Commendable nose of rose petals, petrol, and lemon-lime. Dry to off-dry with refreshing acidity on a light-medium body. Flavor focuses on the lemon-lime while the nose continues to reflect the rose petal and petrol in a marvelous juxtaposition -- delicious and with character. Medium finish on balanced citric notes. Overall, nicely balanced. Be forewarned: This is not a sweet fruit bomb. It is more along the lines of a domestic “dry riesling,” German “kabinett trocken,” or Alsatian riesling -- and has the personality to stand on its own. Outstanding QPR.
