November 30, 2022 - Totally over the hill. Good storage but just browned and caramelized. Only some faint cherry.

November 11, 2010 - A visit to HdV: This is a one time release as they thought the Cab in 05 really warranted it. Purple in color, ruby to the rim. The nose has great depth with cassis and graphite. Smooth. Medium tannins. Lots of cassis and a long finish. Not a big Cab by any means, but very good and quite interesting. I think they priced it at $125 and its probably worth it. I think this will age for twenty years and need at least 5 more to maturity. It is different from all of the other Cabs I tasted this trip. Not as exuberant, but certainly not bashful.
