  March 21, 2009 - Starting to develop burnt orange around rim. Black cherry with hints of minty sage and eucalyptus on the nose. Cherry theme repeated in mouth followed by raspberry, cola, tea, bay leaf. Acidity and tannins still prevalent, this wine is just starting to develop some secondary characteristics and still has plenty of life left.

  December 31, 2007 - I had 2 bottles, one was a BRETT monster...yuck - total barnyard and band aid-ish, it was clearly a bad bottle, so I cracked the other one and it was a little hot, ok well more than a little, but the underlying fruit was good. Excellent structure but the over the top heat really took away from the experience.
