August 8, 2017 - 2nd of 2 for me. This one's also drinking a little advanced for what I'd expect at its age, but interestingly it seemed a little tired on the pop, but improved in maybe an hour or so. Medium (+) ruby to garnet with some bricking. Aromas of dried red fruits, dry leaves, potpourri, earth, eucalyptus, and cinnamon. Medium (+) body, medium acid and finish, integrated tannins, and flavors of black cherry, plum, black tea, orange peel, and lemon. Pretty good complexity; enjoyed it.

August 15, 2015 - A little raspberry, strawberry jam, plum, spice, chocolate, earth, dry leaf (not tobacco) with light acidity and a moderate length finish. Don't think that this is going to evolve into anything better. Drink now or in the short term.
