October 19, 2015 - Dark purple color with medium body and smooth mouth feel. Earthy loam, white pepper and a touch of cinnamon on the nose. Concentrated blueberry and mushroom at the front with blackberry and bakers chocolate on the finish. Very nice, still got a couple years left, but definitely start drinking now or soon.

August 25, 2013 - Pop and pour and followed for several hours. Air did not help this wine, and actually seemed to hurt it. African violet, earth, smoke, menthol, blackberry, caramel (at first, then changed to cedar), and a little raspberry on the nose. Blackberry, black cherry, tart cherry, earth, and spice on the palate. Decent acidity and structure, medium finish. At first I thought there was too much caramel oak notes in this wine, but after some air, I found the oak in check but the balance slightly off. While a good wine, it wasn't quite delivering what normally expect from Fidelitas Malbec.

April 25, 2013 - Tons of deep dark fruit medium tannins and a medium long finish. Pretty enjoyable but some may think it is a fruit bomb.

November 28, 2011 - Tons of fruit but balanced and smooth with a nice long yummy finish.

Had this wine during a 5 person blind tasting with 3 other bottles of WA and Argentinian Malbecs. This was the final order although the scores were very close and three different wines recieved the highest score from the 5 tasters. 1) 2007 Dusted Valley Malbec, 2) 2009 Familia Zuccardi Q Malbec, 3) 2008 Bodega Catena Zapata Malbec and 4) 2008 Fidelitas Malbec.

This was my personal favorite, but some of the other tasters thought it was overly fruity.
