March 14, 2013 - opens up after 30 minutes with ripened plum/cherry, peaks with good balance, then seems to turn sour around 1 hour, although maintaining complexity.

February 1, 2013 - Decanted 4 hours. Abundant nose of mature dark and red fruit. Medium concentrated on the palate. Flavors less of the same from the nose but none-the-less nice structure and integrated. Balanced toward acid which worked well with grilled marinated flank steak. Better than expected and no need to wait (thought life still left for cellaring).

May 28, 2012 - Excellent Wine, well balanced and structured. Was part of a paired tasting menu this weekend and this wine really stood out. Deep garnet color, fruity nose, long finsih. Paired perfectly with rare lamb. Purchased two bottles on the way out the door.
