  October 20, 2018 - Pale salmon in color (it’s 17 years on, after all). Nose is very shy, but matches the layered palate of strawberry-cantaloupe and white spice. But the real surprise is the structure! A firm (medium plus) backbone of acidity and mild (medium minus) tannins are still showing and holding it all together (again, after the 17 years!). If your still have one, and have taken care of it, it should reward you handsomely! Pair with a Cobb, Niçoise, or other full meal salad.

  July 4, 2012 - More like a Grenach Blanc than a rose to me, but it's got a nice combination of acid and bright flavours. Every few sips something more berry-like comes out (the thing I look for in rose) but most sips through the last 1.5 hours its been open are along the lines of Sauv Blanc or Grenache Blanc.

  January 7, 2012 - My last bottle was the best. Maybe it is getting a bit better in the bottle? Nice bright fruit with some very noticeable minerality. Nice.
