Community Tasting Notes 15

    February 29, 2020 - I was surprised by how youthful the color was, deep, opaque and still purple!
    Nose has a funkiness, which to my taste was not overwhelming. There's lots of black fruit and pepperiness and the wine shows remarkable freshness. I've already opened five out of six bottles, yet if I had known I'd open the first only now. It has a potential for a decade of further development.
    Very nice mouthfeel, soft but with a solid structure and energy. Impeccable tannins and refreshing finish.

    January 6, 2020 - Don’t buy or drink this. Boring. Smells like feet, no interesting notes on palate. Too soft and simplistic.

    August 24, 2018 - Delightful bouquet offering forest floor funkiness, roasted meat and ripe blackberry, tiny hints of leather perhaps. Lively palate of minerality and acidity, pure and linear. Terribly satisfying and pleasingly complex.

    April 12, 2018 - Good wine, with typicity, not very expressive though and with a little too much brett to spoil the beatiful Syrah aromas a bit.

    September 15, 2017 - Oeil violet dense;
    Nez sur les fruits foncés (cassis & mûres), il y a de légères notes animales qui deviennent plus intégrées avec le temps. Aspect fumé bien présent, la ronce mouillée & le poivre sont bien présents. Belle impression de fraîcheur malgré les arômes denses & prononcées.
    Bouche relativement dense en attaque, sur le fruité "bleu" foncé (mûres, bleuets). Belle droiture en milieu & fin de bouche. Finale sur les épices & une impression minérale bien présente. Fraîcheur du nez présente en bouche. Assez long. Plus le temps passe plus il devient élégant & tout semble en harmonie. Agréable.
