March 21, 2020 - Drunk with Morgan on the night he came to stay.
Dark but clear.
Proper mature "burgundy" aromas. Loads of interest.
In the mouth its definitely Californian in a good way.
Substantial and chewy. Loads of fruit and flavour, but yes clear alcohol on the finish (14.5%).
Plenty of time left for this wine but sadly its my last bottle. -

May 1, 2017 - Popped poured; tons of great fruit still; good balance with acidity; my other bottles should be good for a few more years- I suspect not at peak yet! Lovely tart cherry rolling into rich tannins;
