May 11, 2012 - Initially, this wine was brambly, green, had some prominent barnyard funk and a chalky mouthfeel. After a good hour+ it blossomed with flavors of red currant, plum, nutmeg & cherry. It was lively, offering hints of licorice and moderate tannins. It was actually a bit light in weight. Medium long finish coated the tongue.
