May 2, 2023 - Needed some breathing time. Lovely and smooth. Well balanced flavours. Lots of fruit forward in the nose. Nice finish. Still a wonderful wine.

June 20, 2020 - Have not had a bottle of this in over three years. Opened about an hour before dinner. The nose was dark red fruit. The palate was dark cherry, dark plum with hints of baking spice leading to a moderate finish. A very enjoyable wine served with a cold seared tuna salad on a muggy NJ night.

July 31, 2019 - Thought it would be past prime and predominantly alcohol, but was excellent. Still fruit prominent and perfectly integrated. Better than the '16 I had recently, makes me want to save them for another 6-7 years.

December 27, 2018 - Fun wine, time has added some interesting complexity. Initial nose of fresh manure. Settled to earth, sweet strawberry, and cola on the nose and palate. Nice intensity and lingering strawberry finish.
