January 7, 2014 - Belle couleur or-vert, brillant. Belle longueur. Très agréable.
Nice green-gold bright color with exuberant aroma of citrus fruits (grapefruit), apples and vanilla (wood). Straight attack with intense flavors of citrus fruits, apples and pears. Onctuous and moderately woody, the wine is well balanced, supported by a good acidity. Nice finish. Nice wine -

September 30, 2013 - White Rhone blend of 45% Marsanne, 39% Roussanne and 16% Viognier.
Color: medium straw yellow with green tints. Slightly subdued bouquet of lemon, pineapple, vanilla and honey. Totally agree with the notes describing a certain waxiness on the palate; probably due to the high percentage of Marsanne . Some viscosity present but lacking acidity, minerality and a sense of presence or place. 14.5% alcohol shows through a bit on the finish. Sorry, but while I usually enjoy California white Rhones, this one leaves me a bit underwhelmed. -

March 8, 2013 - Smooth, rich aromatics of citrus fruits, honeysuckle, and flowers, medium bodied, hint of vanilla on the finish.

October 27, 2012 - Belle texture, mais aucune personnalité. Décevant.

April 8, 2012 - Consumed over 1 hour at cool room temperature. Notes of muted tropical fruit were in the background, with the major impression being a 'waxiness' I wouldn't expect from a white Rhone this young. Subtle acids that kick in at the finish. I suspect some minor flaw due to the muted fruit - if not flawed, I'd rate this somewhere in the low-mid 80's at this point.
