  August 12, 2012 - Crimson color with magenta rim. Nose of licorice, pencil shavings, earthy aromas, and plum. Well-rounded palate of spices and fruits, with ample tannins and acidity. For the price, a real overachiever.

  July 17, 2012 - This Cabernet Franc from Washington with a deep dark red color, opaque and lovely. The nose shows a slight barnyard and loam, with floral esters, black fruit and black pepper. The mouth feel is medium, the fruit mellow with a tartness and a firm tannic finish. A nice Cab franc best with food drink it now.

  May 5, 2011 - All American Tasting (Binny's on Grand): Cinnamon spice. Light tar and cigar. Touch of iron. Nice acidity on the finish.

  March 2, 2011 - A bit rough around the edges. Tannins are a little over bearing, without a soft finish. This was a $30 restaurant purchase so I wasn't unhappy with the bottle but I wouldn't pay $20 retail.
