Community Tasting Notes 3

January 21, 2015 - The oak is indeed subdued with this wine, both in the aroma and the taste. This is my second bottle of the case, and it's time to start drinking up the rest of them, this wine has come into its time. Acid is still powerful enough to cut through any fats in the meal (had this with pork tenderloin tonight) and the fruit is still holding up well. All is in balance, if you saved some of this until now, you will be rewarded with a nice wine.

January 22, 2014 - Earlier tasting not on Cellar Tracker (2011) was critical of the oak. If that was a problem it is no longer, and this is balanced, relatively understated, with an enjoyable lemony persistence. Will last a couple of years too.

July 31, 2011 - Quick TN. Noticeable oak and typical Chardonnay flavors. Great acid and fruit but the oak ruined it for me.
