  November 13, 2021 - L.119. Aligoté from Corpeau. Much riper and fuller in flavour than expected (it also carries 13,5 % abv). About as fun and enjoyable to drink as a fruity meunier champagne!

  March 21, 2016 - A méthode traditionnelle bubbly from Aligoté, no dosage.
  
  Pale lime green color. Somewhat restrained and gently autolytic nose with some aromas of yeast, ripe red apples, a little bit of toasted bread and a hint of mirabelle plum. The wine is light-bodied, bone-dry and somewhat austere on the palate with very little fruit and quite neutral flavors of steely minerality, stone dust, some apple peel bitterness and a hint of sappy herbal character. The wine is high in acidity with rather gentle and balanced mousse. The finish is quite lengthy with quite acid-driven and rather neutral flavors of almost unripe golden apples, some leesy yeast character, a little bit of apple peel bitterness and hints of sappy herbal tones.
  
  A pleasant and refreshing little bubbly where depth and complexity really are not the main point. This is a very mineral and rather neutral food wine with bubbles, something not unlike a fizzy Muscadet. Nothing too memorable, but pairs nicely with dishes where you need acidity and minerality to cut through fat or richness. Enjoyable, but too pricey for the quality at 35€.
