  January 1, 2012 - Dark fruit with hints of autumn leaf and tobacco. Rich, smooth and mellow; and with some complexity. Outstanding value.

  December 11, 2011 - PLeasant, well-balanced with red and green pepper tones. Fruity nose. Enjoyed before dinner with an Austalian wine that provided quite a contrast this was very smooth, and gentle on the palette.

  July 8, 2011 - Light in the glass. Nose of tar, cherry and green pepper - wonderful! Initial attack of cranberry with mid-palate transitioning to tobacco, bay and tongue gripping black tea. At $25CAD, I'm loving this!

  March 26, 2011 - good clean wine, fresh, quite bit of interest. Nice acidity and fruit with some very good underlying complexity behind it.

  December 3, 2010 - Garnet purple core, watery rim. Moderate nose with cedar, cigar box and notes of sunflower seeds. Moderate acidity, moderate tannins, graphite, more cedar and tobacco. Refreshing. Drink now or wait a year.
