November 18, 2021 - Fairwell my tasty friend, so sad to see you go. Beautiful mature example of Ecole's Perigee. Perfect drinking right now, subtle fruit ... tabacco...

September 19, 2021 - Not sure what the notes below relate to but the acidity in this wine is still super bright, plenty of life left. It is good off the bat but 2 hrs in this is delicious.

April 13, 2019 - Mighty tasty. Gave it a decant primarily due to it's age. Bold, juicy, long in the mouth. Last one.

April 8, 2019 - Probably a bit past it’s prime but still very tasty.

November 22, 2018 - Decanted about 4 hours. It has been 5 years since we last had this and all I would say is 😮!! Opened up very nicely with aromas of berries and spice. A touch of earth but not overpowering. Smooth finish. Drinking very nice right now. An excellent wine.

    12/18/2012 (link) **** points

(L'Ecole No 41 Perigee Estate Red Wine Seven Hills Vineyard Walla Walla Valley) An aromatically complex wine with cedar, clove, high toned herbal notes with occasional pepper aromas sneaking through, earth, pencil lead, and a medley of red and black fruit. The palate has sinewy dark fruit flavors and firm, grainy tannins that should benefit from some additional time in the bottle. 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec, and 4% Petit Verdot. Aged 22 months in French oak (50% new). 14.5% alcohol. 1,210 cases produced. Sample provided by winery
