December 25, 2023 - Opened all three bottles within a few days of each other. The first was bad. Not sure if it was Miss stored or what, but it was very funky tasting. The second two were much better and improved with a long decant. This is not one of Gramercy’s Bigger Sarahs, but it drank quite nicely.

December 18, 2020 - This was a big hit with the socially-distanced group. Very aromatic. Lifted notes of small elegant berry extract cooking on the stove with a little bit of play-doh on the side. Surprised it doesn't have some viognier in it but current release has 100% Syrah so I'm assuming this is the same.
Dark, brambly mouth with still a lot of fruit. Not detecting any tertiary flavors but it does have excellent balance and depth. No tannins.
Decent length finish with more berries, Fry's turkish delight and good acid.
Well made (although perhaps overly filtered as there was no sediment) with good fruit. Probably won't improve but should hang on for at least 5 more years. -

May 25, 2020 - Pretty nice WA Syrah, last of 4 bottles. Last time I had a bottle was about 2 yrs ago.
Big and bold, ripe but just-right black cherries and plum fruit, alongside some basic black pepper, espresso grounds, and anise and tar.
Quite tasty, nothing really special, but good, and will not further improve, so drink up. -

March 7, 2020 - Good, but for my tastes, not close to as enjoyable as the 2010 release.

9/22/2011 (link) ***** points(Gramercy Cellars Syrah Walla Walla Valley) An intensely aromatic wine with violets, smoked meat, light chocolate, and mineral notes. The palate is textured with layers of complexity crisply defined by acidity. An exclamation point of Walla Walla Valley Syrah. 100% Syrah. 95% Les Collines Vineyard, 5% Minick Vineyard. Aged 18 months in 500L and 225L neutral barrels. 13.9% alcohol. 605 cases produced.
