April 12, 2014 - Pale colour, god nose but less so in the mouth. Alcohol to the fore. Improved a bit over a couple of hours with more complex flavours developing & the alcohol receeding slightly

June 16, 2012 - Dusty with a muted cherry nose. On the palate- a little thin. Flavors of mint, black tea and faint cherry kept it going, but the alcohol was a little to hot and threw the ensemble off balance.

June 5, 2012 - Interesting: first bottle from a new vintage. Decanted for about 1 hour, drunk with duck and plums. Not as dirty on the nose as previous vintages - more 'straightforward than previous vintages - nice fruity pinot nose with emerging farmyard. Good fruit, quite long and some delicate tannins. Made more sens with the duck than without. Will wait a year before opening another.

December 25, 2010 - Pale purple color. Good bouquet of berry fruit and spice. Mouthfilling fruit with silky smooth tannins and a decent finish.
