September 18, 2014 - Violet, cassis, and vanilla mix in a lightly spiced and subtle nose. Medium plus weight, with darker fruits giving way to more secondary notes of earth, leather, and dried black cherry. Very fine, drying tannin on the finish. Still nicely balanced with good acidity. I think this has evolved nicely, and am sad this is my last bottle!

May 23, 2013 - Black fruit nose followed by flavors of black fruit, cinnamon and spice. This is a medium bodied wine with low tannins and a reasonably long finish. It's a little lighter than I expected, but has good flavors. It's just not as exceptional as I recalled.

(Abeja House Red Columbia Valley) Smoke and a light gaminess mark the nose. Dry and velvety on the palate with a lot of black fruit. An excellent wine for the money. 84% Cabernet; 7% Cab Franc; 6% Petit Verdot; 3% Merlot.
