September 11, 2013 - Rich fruit flavors and some wonderful, smoky, bacony aromas. Good acidity, nice balance, nice subtle spice on the flavor. Lengthy finish.

June 30, 2013 - Drinking this bottle had a myriad of issues that may have led to my slightly lower score. Had it after a spice rubbed steak, it was the 4th bottle of the evening, it was a little too cold and muted. So overall this bottle did not leave much of an impression. Medium bodied and showing some dark fruit but very little typical and expected syrah spice
