  December 28, 2020 - Showing some bricking but still some life ahead. Lovely aromas of plum, blackcurrant casis and spice. Concentrated flavours

  October 11, 2013 - Decanted for 1hr 15 mins prior to tasting.
  Garnet red, with a touch of purple there. Not an overly strong bouquet, but maybe leather and cherry. A little jammy in the mouth, not overly strong on the palate and a shortish finish.
  This wine is ok, I paid $27 ish a bottle from memory, but feel there is better Coonawarra's out there at this price point. Maybe try again 2018 is my guess..

  November 20, 2011 - Oak dominant on the nose with earthy notes and blackberries. A true varietal character on the palate with minty tobacco, blackcurrant and juicy berries.

  May 25, 2011 - Clear dark ruby, a powerful young wine with lean dry tannins that produce a light puckering that perhaps over-balances the fruit at this stage. A long dry finish. Overall, an intense masculine wine that should achieve a better balance with a few years in the cellar.
