  (Chateau Vieux Chateau Certan) The VCC was a puppy but a precocious puppy. The Cabernet Franc was really showing at this point in its life with herbal berry fruit on the nose and also on the palate. Had a grapey quality to the fruit which I really enjoyed but oh man was this wine young. What I loved about this wine was how understated, pretty and elegant it was. The finesse and delineation were amazing. This needs many years but when it gets going it should be a stunner.
