December 12, 2013 - Deep red color. This seems somewhat thinner than the last time we drank it, but medium bodied. Somewhat astringent and the acid overpowers other flavors. Not a particularly long finish. Earth and smoke on the nose, but those scents seem to dissipate quickly. Well worth the price.
