Community Tasting Notes 1

March 15, 2016 - {winery visit} Tasted the complete lineup and chose this one as my favorite - as much for my own personal taste but also because I knew who I'd be sharing this with (my wine geek friends back home). Still very fresh, and very much a food wine with antipasti, etc. Many solid years yet ahead, though I think this bottle will meet its end in 2017. If you're ever in Marsala town, be sure to visit this very lovely and progressive winery. This has NOTHING in common with Marsala wine as most (!) US consumers know it (read: sweet cooking wine), this is a very fine, dry wine, with class and precision; terrific sense of place. recommended

    Served non-blind.
