May 28, 2017 - Aged well, a little two strong in the black currant berry for me, smooth mouth and nose clean finish

July 4, 2014 - Awesome Pinotage! Light chocolate flavour compared to others good ones. Very good on the nose and the palate. I recommend. Drank in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

December 21, 2012 - Dark purple/red - very muted nose - much more activity on the palate: blackcurrant and blueberry - very fruity, very acidic, very upfront. This bottle much better than the last, more depth, but still pretty simple - either that or I am getting more used to pinotage ! :-)

November 5, 2011 - On the nose: a well balanced wine with raspberries and a hint of blueberris, liquorice and vanilla (probabely from the 40% part american oak) and just a tiny hint of that SA smokeyness. On the palate: Well integrated tannis and a perfectly balanced bowl of dark fruit. Stands fine on it's own and this night served with cape malay curry. This years best South African wine. Just pop and pour. 91+

August 5, 2011 - A very well formed and easy wine. It is like Dan Quayle delivering a speech written by Winston Churchill - at first you dismiss it, but on reflection there is more to it - but its facility still irks.
