March 16, 2019 - A really great wine with a full body and atlot of taste of blackberry, cherry, lacrits and herbes.

Perfect maturity now for my taste, but will probably keep for several years more.

May 6, 2018 - Great wine. High alcohol but it is well matched with the fruit and acidity still intact. Drink well now but guess it will for another 4-6 years.

October 15, 2014 - This wine is really drinking well right now and could easily age another 5-10 years more. Big wine, with Med+ body and high alcohol, but it holds it well. Med Tannins balanced with brilliant Med+ acidity. The fruit profile is very dark--blackberries, cassis, black raspberries--with notes of bramble, spice, slate, vanilla and smoke. The flavors are intense and the finish long. Very enjoyable. I wish I had more.

April 26, 2014 - Medium+/deep, ruby color with very fine deposit.

Med intensity nose with aromas of meat, oak, some flowery component, ripe dark fruits but no jammy or overly fruity character, minerals lingering there somewhere too.

Full bodied, med+ alcohol (well integrated though, but serve cool-ish), med+ fine tannins, med+ acidity. Oak, dark fruits, meaty and abit herbal.

Very nice wine, really came into it's own with some aging. Don't remember it as this good a few years back, too much alcohol, fruit and oak back then. Now it's all integrated and drinks nicely now. Could probably rest five more years, but that would end up a somewhat different wine.

December 8, 2013 - Drinking beautifully right now. Plenty of fruit and very well integrated tannins. Worked fine with braised oxtails
