September 6, 2016 - Very good bottle purchased on release. It tasted amazingly fresh and young. Full bodied and extracted, however with a balance to it that reminds me of a Côte Rotie in a hot year. Properly stored bottles should last for many more years. Great foil with a fatty piece of grilled meat.

August 13, 2016 - First taste out of bottle was overwhelming green pepper. Thought this was maybe past its prime. But after letting it breathe for 30 minutes, it greatly improved. Fruit appeared and pepper dialed back. Still a nice wine , but if you have any, I would drink now.
