August 30, 2023 - I liked this more when we last had it ten years ago. The alcohol seems to be more noticeable now. The wine is a little hot and the fruit seems a little more sweet and stewed. Starting to develop some dark honey notes.

August 2, 2023 - Beautiful nose of dark berries, leather, and some gaminess. Smooth, rich, slightly tannic. In great shape and will last for several years to come.

May 5, 2018 - An opaque 9 year old wine still black to the edge with a half inch pour. Very nice balance of fruit, acid, and tannin that is refreshing, bright, well integrated, and delicious. Juicy blackberry and raspberry fruit, with a dry finish. Very enjoyable now and should remain excellent anytime in the next 4 years. Fine example of why Rhone wines are rightly famous for being deliciously drinkable without being sweet, heavy, or flabby.

December 15, 2017 - Nice wine. Midweight although 14,5% Alc. Lost some backbone in the meanwhile but elegant, fruity and complex.
