January 5, 2021 - Has to blow off some funk and brett aromas first, and then it comes out as a pretty balanced and structured wine.

November 30, 2020 - Ripe and concentrated fruit and lean structure. Medium to full bodied, fine tannins.

September 18, 2020 - A very mature but still very good performing wine. A lot of sediment but still a very dark wine. There was a sense of flaw in the nose, but it blow away after a min or two in the glass. A soft and strong wine with layers. Still a nice fruit and fully integrated oak. Is past it's peak but still alive! A modern Cote Rotie character

November 3, 2017 - Quite disjointed when first opened but came together really nicely after 4 hours in the decanter. Plenty of grip and grunt from the high acidity and strong tannins. Lovely dark chocolate notes with some pretty wild strawberries in full song. Plenty of spicy, savoury notes on the finish. In contrast to the more supple, feminine and fully mature 2002, this is a bombastic, fully flavoured wine which is really only just getting going. Should age well until 2025.
