December 9, 2019 - Best CA pinot noir drunk in 2019. Friend stated best red wine he has had in the last 5 years. Fully mature with great mouth feel and a lingering finish.

December 7, 2018 - Wonderful example of a gorgeous Pinot noir at its peak. Hints of black cherry on the nose mixed with earthiness and mineralogy. Wonderfully full on the palate that finishes long with great acidity. It is a wine that rewarded our patience.

November 4, 2017 - Agree with tasters below, this could be a mature burg. Probably one of the top aged WS pinot I've had. Very much alive, fruit still intact and perhaps more copious than you'd get in a 14 year old burg. Deep red fruit, baking spices, cherry, menthol, earth. Very nice.

June 2, 2017 - Echo the comment about this tasting like a mature burgundy. Still loads of fruit, subdued tannins, and long, long finish. Slightly sweet edge, showing its CA character. Still perfect, but no point in waiting any further on this. Drank with Coravin, and it improved each time in glass.

June 13, 2016 - Just terrific. PNP at restaurant. Initial taste underwhelming but within a few minutes fruit and depth emerged. Bottle disappeared quickly after that.
