January 4, 2020 - Dark red in color with nose of wood, earth and cherry. Decent palate of sour cherry, charcoal and earth. Not green. Decent for a Cab. Franc.

September 17, 2017 - Loved this. Tight and mineral with bright but dark fruit. The nose was very earthy with some horse stable but also fruity with green pepper notes. Crisp and exact.

March 10, 2013 - Cabernet Franc, 12% alcohol, no sulfur, drink quickly or store in the dark. Nose: earthy, skunky Palate: a bit tannic, green, woody, cherry. Very nice wine, but so light bodied . It unexpectedly went well with green chile chicken enchiladas.

December 20, 2012 - Very spicy on the nose, aromas of red and green peppers, bell pepper and hints of barnyard and tobacco. The wine is still quite young and needs time to open up. Powerful, with structure and freshness. The tannins are still a bit bumpy and dry though.

December 2, 2012 - Kermit Lynch tasting at Solano Cellars
Nice herbaciousness and minerality. Interesting red fruit. Good acidity.
    Enjoyed quite a bit.
