November 15, 2014 - Still going strong, surprisingly strong tannic structure. Medium acid, the fruit is a mix of sour and dried cherries, lots of garrigue, charcoal, pickles, tobacco and anise. Earthy but still lots of fruit to last. Tannins provide lots of structure to the point where I think, if properly stored, this has a good few years left. Poured at Kevin's wedding.

May 3, 2013 - Wow, aged to perfection. My makeshift cellar might be better than I thought. Still vibrant, but cranberry rimming and ample sediment suggest age. Has an aromatic and flavor profile of dark fruit, clove and thyme - over time the fruity side is overpowered by the earthy and garrigue components, and I probably preferred it more on open than later, but appreciated the in-glass evolution.

May 23, 2008 - Rather Burgundian but perhaps not in the best sense. Pale colour. The nose shows some wild strawberry and perhaps a touch of VA. Rather reminds me of Musar. Later the nose seemed rather like a red Burgundy. The palate is a little dilute to start, with a fine tannins and more strawberry. Quite high acidity. Rather like a burgundy again, other than the warm, alcoholic kick in the finish. Decent enough but disappointing. I've better Cotes du Rhones.

January 14, 2007 - Less fruit forward then others. Primary note is charred brush, supported by black cherry.
