July 17, 2008 - Clear and succinct color and palate. Even at 6 years of age, this wine needs considerable time in the cellar to tame the harshness it now possesses. It seems to have an authenic backbone, and a medium bodied weight with a core of true fruit, but the hard tannins and tartness overshadow the subtle rewards this wine may offer with time.
