February 13, 2023 - My experience was very similar to "SCHLAEPDOG" on 4/17/21. No evidence of sliding downward. Decant for 1-1/2 hour min for fuller more integrated experience. Drink now to 2025.

November 24, 2021 - Weak and slightly off nose. Palate OK but lacking in fruit. Very likely cork or bacterial contamination. Definitely not up to expected potential.

April 17, 2021 - No issues with the cork that was slightly saturated and in good condition.

Decanted 1 hour and it needed it as it continued to evolve throughout the night. It is still quite dark purple with no signs of browning. The aromatics are pleasant mix of crushed red fruit, fresh cut spring flowers, baking spices like nutmeg and cinnamon, along with pipe tobacco and menthol.

In the mouth, It is blackberry pie subtly melding into red cherry, plum, red currant, garden herb, balanced by light oak and spice. Long finish of more red berry herb flecked fruit. Delicious, ready to go, but no clear signs of oxidation or over the hill flavors suggesting it could hold for several if not many more years. Drink now - 2025.

July 31, 2020 - The only one of 3 bottles purchased that had at least half the cork intact. Since the seller, echelon wines, assured me that they had purchased these from the winery on release, I have to assume that they were not stored on their side, which allowed the corks to dry out. As previously noted, the first two were a disaster but this one had a incredible nose and a very nice pallet. Not overly complex, but the tannins are totally integrated and the finish is good. Not as good as other sbragia cabs I have had, but pleasant to drink. The nose was definitely the best part but at a 75$ price point, Not a very good QPR. .
