  March 7, 2015 - Very complex aszu from the amazing 1999 year, with honey, peach and little plum taste. The smell is incredible, I could smell it all day long. Very remarkable wine from the well known Mr. Szepsy Istvan.

  December 31, 2014 - Opened by VM at Anvil and paired with apple cobbler. This was a beautiful viscous wine with apricot and orange marmalade. Very nice.

  December 31, 2014 - Opened on New Year's Eve. This wine was made by Istvan Szepsy. 200g/ltr of sugar. 2nd time I have had this wine (first time was at the winery). Deep gold color. Paired with a hot apple cobbler. Deep gold color. Apricot, orange marmalade, black tea and raisin. Unctuous with a full body. I thought this was slightly better in it's youth 9 years ago but still outstanding now. My last bottle. 93 points

  March 23, 2014 - Amazing wine, very very ripe apricots and dried apricots, orange marmalade.very nice acidity to balance 196 residual sugar, long aftertaste with hints of spice and tobacco. One of the best of the very many aszu wines i tasted last couple of months ( huge tokaj fan)

  June 28, 2008 - Butterscotch and orange marmalade. Orange rind. Smooth with high acidity to balance the sweetness. Very long finish. The elements of this wine don't quite come together just yet. I think a few more years will improve it even more although it's already an outstanding drink.
