    February 13, 2022 - Light yellow colour.
Medium intensity aroma of peach, apple, honey.
Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol. Light body. Light intensity flavour of apple, pear, peach, pineapple, lemon, lemon tart. Long finish.

Not getting a lot of yeast. Very light in body and taste and so very drinkable.

June 30, 2021 - Strawberry brioche nose. Strawberries and cream as well. Aggressive mousse, but good acid. This is a definite crowd pleaser, but has a lot more nuance/sophistocated than the standard brut.

November 26, 2020 - On 8/27/2018 I reviewed a similar NV 1.5 liter magnum Chandon Sparkling Wine (which had lost pressure and was, unfortunately, spoiled); this one is also a magnum, labelled 'CHANDON RESERVE BRUT' and described on the label as a CUVEE of 60% Sonoma and 40% Napa; 13% alcohol, composite cork, light to medium weight foil, solid wire cap, medium to high pressure; we weren't going to let the virus depress us on Thanksgiving and decided to go with the Chandon; tasted at approximately 15 degrees C; medium legs, high-carat golden yellow, lots of fine bubbles, nose is not fruit forward -- faint metal, earth, and alcohol, hint of stone fruit; full bodied, notes of quince, persimmon, kiwi, pears, even red-delicious apples; sourness, bitterness, and fruitiness well balanced, the metal and earth I noticed in the nose had retreated to the background; long finish; pair with turkey

October 25, 2020 - So, we've had this bottle in the cellar for the past 8 years, and we found that the cork was sealed so well that I actually had to use a wrench to twist it open! Inside was an absolutely wonderful, still young sparkling. If similar bottles of this era are similarly sealed, there are still many years ahead for it. Suggesting 2025.
