  October 26, 2013 - Good fruit on the nose but subdued flavors on the palate initially. An hour later it opened nicely. Bright fruit on the nose, taste of berries followed by hints of cocoa and spice, soft tannins and a nice finish. A very nice wine for the price.

  March 30, 2012 - Very good with lots of sweet sweet oak, and some fruit. Typical of Charlie Hoppes at a good entry price.

  March 1, 2012 - Drank with supper club. Needs to aerate at least 30 minutes. Complex, spicy flavors, tannins slightly harsh. Very drinkable.

  October 14, 2011 - Very full bodied wine here with a softer side. Reminds me of a big Sonoma Cabernet. Silky tannnis and big fruit flavors. Nice easy finish, full mouthfeel and full integration of flavors. Will buy again.
