December 31, 2022 - Light coloured - nice brown tinge showing given its age. Very closed straight out of the wine fridge. Decanting starting to open it up. Very drinkable still with silky tannins. Oak undertones alongside dark cherry and ripe dark red fruit notes. Complex wine that lingers on the palate. Still a lot of length for a wine that is supposedly well past its best drinking age 😉

January 16, 2012 - From memory. Sweet cherry and alcoholic nose, slightly overripe palate, longish and sweetish dark stone fruit finish. Enjoyed more alone than with food.
