  August 5, 2017 - Super smokey due to fires that year. Def on the backside now in 2017. Not as good as 2 years ago but not totally done. Color getting hints of brown. Not great but interesting. Little pepper on the nose.

  Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of perfume, talc, black berries and black cherries. Flavors of red berries, red raspberries and red cherries. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

  April 11, 2013 - This one surprised me a bit....Great color....Started off quite simple but a very nice wine...I ended liking this much more than I expected. Really nice structure and tannins, smooth finish. Nice job with Sangiovese from Napa.

  January 6, 2013 - Nice domestic Sangiovese from Miner. Dark stone fruit, medium body with good acidity. Paired with beer braised short ribs. Not super complex, but great for Sunday night family supper.
